Sing Your Music- Podcast 269

The conversation I had with Serena Dyer, author of Don’t Die With Your Music
Still In You,
was wonderful.

In 2001, Dr. Wayne W Dyer, wrote a book called Ten Secrets For Success And Inner Peace, based on the most important principles he wanted his children to live by. Serena Dyer has contemplated these ideas throughout her life. Don’t die with your music still in you has been the most important principle for Serena: to her, it means that you don’t allow yourself to live any life other than the one you were born to live.

We covered why Serena chose that particular secret and why it is important to her; what secret is important to her now; stories about her dad, Wayne W Dyer, and what it’s like to be raised by spiritual parents.

Originally, I wanted Serena to be on the show because we were both raised with spiritual parents.

We discussed how Wayne W Dyer is “still here” and Serena give us examples as to why this is true.

Expect Something Wonderful- Podcast 268

Expect something wonderful every moment of your life. That’s what my day has been like.

This morning, I thought I was being interviewed to talk about the awesome coffee shop we frequent several times a week.
It turned out, one of the foodies was a patient of mine, or more accurately, his wife was, but healthcare is family care. He said he talks about me everyday. I was touched.

Then Serena Dyer said she will be on my Radio show this Friday at 12 noon

Remember– expect something wonderful!

Birthless, Deathless- Podcast 267

From Bhagavad Gita:

This (the Self) can never be cut into pieces by the weapons, nor burnt by fire, nor moistened by water, nor dried by the wind. (2.23)

This (the Self) cannot be broken, it cannot be burned, it cannot be dissolved, it cannot be dried, it is eternal, all pervading, immovable, unchangeable and eternally the same. (2.24)

This (the Self) is impersonal, inconceivable, unchangeable. Thus knowing This to be such, you don’t deserve to lament. (2.25)
You are deathless, birthless, You are the infinite spirit (Bhagavad Gita 2.22- 30)

We had our second meditation workshop last evening, and the experience reminds me of the passages from the Gita quoted above.

The world as we know it with daily challenges and separation, is diminished with meditation practice. We touch the Soul, quiet down, access Source and find peace.

Judgement of how we think the world should be fades into obscurity.

Expectations are replaced by acceptance of how things are.

This how we prepare for the reality of the Reality.

10,000 Steps-Podcast 266

I intend to walk 10,000 steps a day all winter long. And everyday before
and after winter.

I have two apps on my iPhone that synch together to tell me how many steps I’ve taken and how many calories consumed. It definitely is a balancing act to make sure I eat just enough to add up to the steps taken.

Furthermore, I dance many of the steps, which creates a transcendent state of mind. It automatically makes me feel mystical!!

However, the lyrics of some of the songs flip flop. For instance, on John Lennon’s last album, he has a song called “I’m Just A Jealous Guy,” while singing for world peace, in another. It’s impossible to be a jealous guy and simultaneously experience peace of mind. But who knows what he’s singing about, now.

My Prayer Prescription today– is to stay active. Refuse a sedentary lifestyle. Keep moving. This is just as important to longevity as is meditation, plenty of sleep, a clean diet and clean water, and purified thinking.

Go For It.

Dove Medicine- Podcast 265

This morning, as I left my house to walk Pearlie, a flock of Dove, perhaps fifty or more, rose up and flew away. At the time, I was thinking nostalgically about the crickets, and soon the cold weather would take them to the next cycle.

Naturally, there’s nothing more beautiful than autumn. It teaches us to flow with change and Beauty.

By staying in the present moment, we can fully appreciate everything life so graciously gives without expectation of return. That is how we come to know the true meaning of the Holy Spirit.

Dove signifies the Holy Spirit and purification. Purification is exactly what I cherish for all humans on the planet now. Real purification comes from Love.

Love Love Love now, no exceptions.

The Dove says:
“Easy does it! Stop trying so hard to control everything and all the doors will open for you.” -Dove

She may be reminding you that in order to soar, you must know when to move your wings and when to allow the wind to take you to new heights. If you were to sit on a branch looking to the sky and hoping the wind will simply pick you up, you would never move.

You must surrender and allow the wind to support your wings. Get moving, and experience the exhilaration of flying higher and higher.

Alternatively, Dove could be letting you know that you need to simply stop and take a few deep breaths. Let go of the turmoil that is currently surrounding you and find peace within you.

Know that what you see right now is reality shifting in ways you never thought possible and that what you are truly looking for is just around the corner.

The most chaos happens just before your dreams come true.

That’s what this podcast is all about.

Spiritual Inoculation- Podcast 264

I mentioned yesterday how I was stung by an aggressive what probably was a yellow jacket on my left knee. I did not see it, but the sting was reminiscent of past stings I’ve received. The bee was so fast and escaped my physical vision, but I felt it for three days.

I put a lot of energy and fear into the sting, which wasn’t very spiritual of me.
For instance, my knee swelled twice its size. I was completely separate from the act of loving my knee, loving the bee, loving myself.

Then I thought about receiving life-threatening diagnoses, like cancer or heart disease, and how we tend to spend a lot of time sending fear to our body instead of love, perhaps not thinking that Love would heal the illness at hand by raising our vibrational energy field.

Then Diana Lang mentioned on my Facebook page that the sting was a spiritual inoculation: which made me think of a wake up call bringing me closer to Christ Consciousness and the presence and experience of love.

Diana Lang will be on my radio show 10/21/15 and we will discuss full moon meditations which are, in themselves, a spiritual inoculation.

The Art Of Nonattachment- Podcast 263

I got back to the study of How To Know God -The Yoga Aphorisms of Patanjali, after a wild week of births, a hornet sting, and decluttering and cleaning the house.

As I declutter the house, I find my mind is also automatically decluttered. Have you found that to be true for yourself?

According to Patanjali, nonattachment is an exercise in discrimination. As we reflect on a desired material object, says Patanjali, we find the desired object is useless to our sustained happiness, useless as a means to liberation and potentially harmful because it leads to ignorance and bondage. The saying, “We are all doing time,” applies here.

HlmaKJqaCVjKQHXB.jpgYou cannot take these materially desired objects with you when you die, but you can take with you the discriminating mind developed by strengthening the yoga muscles of purification, making our minds fit for a love that is infinite in its all pervasive higher vibration of security and calm that characterizes it.

We can find this divine love now and do not have to wait until we die to find it. In reality, this love is you, and is found in your internal spiritual life. You actually don’t have to find it. It’s in your prayers and meditation and intuitive flashes.
This is what this podcast is all about.

The Eternal Flame-Podcast 262

The Eternal Flame is what every human being is, at the heart of their soul. We were born in the light of a shining aura. All babies are the light of the world.

The truth of that light becomes more difficult to realize as time goes on. The thinking of the world takes over. Fear of just about everything becomes the reality most people experience.

Yet the Eternal Flame is always there, a mystical perception always available, always waiting. It’s our choice whether we “see” it, or not.

Patanjali’s Aphorisms, Yogananda’s Kriya Yoga, A Course In Miracles, Christ Consconsness, Jesus, Mother Mary, Mother Teresa, and all the saints of the world, rid consciousness of all the obstacles to the realization of this Eternal Flame.

“Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.”– Mother Teresa
Love is the Eternal Flame.

Surrender is the Eternal flame.

Meditation is the Eternal Flame.

Dolphins Are the Eternal Flame.

Dogs and cats are the Eternal Flame.

Speaking of dogs and cats, Tim Link author of Talking With Dogs and Cats, will be on Kate Loving and the Collective Wisdom 10/27/15 at 5 eastern. This conversation happens to coincide with the Full Moon in Taurus, the light of the cosmos that speaks to everyone, shining equally on all of us.

How To Know God-Podcast 261

I’ve been listening to an old Wayne W, Dyer presentation called “There’s A Spiritual Solution To Every Problem.” I used to own the tapes, and must have given them away.

At one point in the presentation, Dr Dyer talked about Patanjali’s Aphorisms in a little book called “How to know God.”
The Aphorisms wield great power. Yogananda, Vivekenanda, and many other great spiritual gurus speak of these Aphorisms.
In fact, Yogananda based the Kriya Yoga technique and meditation on Patanjali’s Aphorisms.

I knew I had the book. In fact, I got it when I originally heard the lecture by Wayne Dyer.

I located the book in my mind. Sure enough, I went to where I imagined it to be, and found it instantly.

Wayne Dyer says to meditate on the first Aphorism on day one.
On day two, you meditate on Aphorism #1 and #2.
On day three, you meditate on Aphorism #1, #2,#3 and so on.

I will report back as I go, on this enlightened project.
