A Choice To Love- Podcast 283

Every religion and spiritual tradition uses prayer as a means for illumination, enlightenment and as a way to find the pathway to freedom.

As one little area of our life straightens out because of our ability to pray, the next area of our life straightens out and the next and the next and so on.

Your prayer prescription may be completely different than mine mainly because we are perhaps starting at different focus points. My guess is that we end up at the same place which is in a place of healing.

The terrorist attacks are an example showing us a world that has chosen Fear over Love.
But the world out there needn’t be our primary focus. The most important emphasis is what’s inside our collective heart, accessed by prayer and meditation.

I AM choosing Love.

Death, A Natural Process

Death is out of the closet more these days than in
the past, but it’s still not viewed as a natural process
of life. The challenge lies in the understanding of
what changes and that which never changes.

For instance, my body, my possessions, the people around
me are all subject to a momentary disappearing act, and could
be gone at any time. I may as well accept that. My life will be
much easier if I do.

But the silence and peace that is of God/ess that I access
during meditation is changeless and permanent. My body and
possessions and all the people in my life are impermanent. The
more I access the peace, love and forgiveness that IS god/ess,
then when a loss occurs, which it will most assuredly,
I will be equipped to stand with strength against this
(seeming) adversity.

I am one of those people who finds the passing of people from
this life to the next to be an enlightening experience. I was
with my mother when she passed. WOW!! What power! The entire
room filled with light, her spirit moved noticeably up and out
from the top of her head, and the 73 year old body that remained
lost all its wrinkles. My dear mum looked like a fourteen year old
princess.

Then for a day or two, I felt true unconditional love and compassion
for everyone and everything that came my way. I’ll never forget that.

Of course, ordinary grieving took place around me for my mother.
My father had much fear and doubt about true matters of the spirit
so we comforted him the best we could. My mother had many
spiritual women friends with whom I could share my experience.

When the experience receded and I returned to ordinary, everyday
consciousness, I never forgot what happened. I now draw upon it
for insight when times arises for other major transformations.

The gifts of spiritual recovery make it possible to see the
miracles of life and death. The body is a garment that we shed
at the moment of death.

Conscious contact with God/ess is a skill that when practiced,
enriches our understanding of death, grief and life. There is no
right or wrong way to deal with these issues.

The only way is through it. Like birth, so in death, the truth
will be revealed.

Bernie’s and Our Miraculous Future

The powers that be can’t hold Bernie Sanders back. That’s what is astrological chart says. And the chart further promises a growing likability factor, because of his purity of heart. That’s what I get out of it, anyway.

The first thing I read when I get got off the show was a Daily Kos article with the headline “Bernie Sanders will beat Hillary and become the 45th president of the United States.”
I love that bit of positive reinforcement.

Listen in to Tonight’s Show.

Bernie’s Astrological Chart-Podcast 282

We are doing Bernie Sanders astrological chart on my radio show tomorrow evening. He is running for president as a Democrat, but for many years he was a Socialist.

We baby boomers know what it means to be a socialist. We used to live on communes, we bartered our goods for food, and we gave everything away.

It’s time to give everything away again.

Bernie is not a baby boomer, but the boomers really relate to his message as a person who does not take money from corporate interests, like big Pharma, Health insurance companies, the banks, oil polluters etc.

Because when you take their money, you have to do what they want you to do, and nothing makes them happy.

This is what this PRAYER podcast is all about.

Here Is The Link To The Radio Show.

Jesse A. Saperstein is a best-selling author, autism advocate and motivational speaker. He is considered one of the most respected leaders in the Anti-Bullying movement of his generation. Jesse also has a form of autism called Asperger’s syndrome (AS). Individuals with Asperger’s are impaired by a profound lack of social skills, common sense, and resistance to change in routine. But they are often enhanced by empathy, intellectual gifts, and morality.

Beliefs Can Be Beautiful-Podcast 281

I am listening and meditating to another Oprah and Deepak 21 day meditation series about how our beliefs can work for us, especially if we work with them.

Here are a few tidbits:

Belief is dynamic and alive. My beliefs enhance my life.

Belief gives me identity. My beliefs make me who I am.

I bring hidden beliefs into light of the Self. My true self can be trusted to lead me.

Your positive beliefs shape your potential. Belief renews me, everyday.

What you identify with, you become. My beliefs give me the life I want.

This is what today’s podcast is all about.

Falling Leaf Meditation- Podcast 280

Complete surrender is our greatest teacher if we allow it to be. Surrender is a state of inner alertness to what is happening now, not imposing expectations or assumptions based on past experience.

Complete surrender is Faith that the power of Love can accomplish anything, even when you cannot see the outcome of the situation.
Letting go is a process. You have to know when to apply it, what to let go of, and how to let go. Neither your mind nor your ego is going to show you any of these things. Your ego believes you must hold on in order to survive. Spirit is the only ally we have in letting go to the Higher Power in our lives.

The secret to surrender is to foster Awareness whenever you feel a reaction to any given difficult situation. Any time you are tempted to react in the same old tired way, ask yourself: Do I want to be a prisoner of the past, or a Being who is anchored in the present moment without any thought of past or future?

Spirit has a good outcome for every situation if we open ourselves to it, even in the face of certain death.

Physical Letting Go: Remember to breathe, relax and allow Spirit into your heart.
Mentally Letting Go: Find a mental formula to chant inwardly whenever faced with he reaction to resist, like: “My fears may come true, but outcome will turn out to be go(o)d. I will wait and observe.” Or: “This is just another experience and I am here on Earth (School) to have experiences. Nothing is wrong.”

Emotionally Letting Go: Simply enter any powerful emotion and embrace it, and see it through until the resistance changes to Spiritual Insight.

Learning to surrender is an art form requiring great patience.

The willingness to surrender is often all you need to begin. Meditate on the Falling Leaf for experiencing the truth of surrender.

Affordable Care Act Is Bogus

5OaPXx17ngaPKihJ.jpgI was thinking about reading the Affordable Healthcare Act and setting everyone straight as to what it is all about. I would like to do an inservice about it at my new job. Unfortunately, this would have been impossible at my old job, because the powers that be controlled what you could or could not say or think.

Besides, I probably would have been fired. There is freedom of thought at this new health care system where I’ve been hired.

There is much anxiety about what the Affordable Healthcare Act will mean for hospitals and their reimbursement. The dumbing down of America has made it very difficult to teach our patients how to take their medicine.

As our population gets sicker, and we prescribe more complicated health regimens, our patients are not grasping what it is they need to do.

More and more people are reading on a 6th grade level, if they are lucky.

When patients fail to comprehend their health care plan, they may keep getting readmitted into the hospital, and hospitals will not get reimbursed. New rules in healthcare see readmissions as a failure In our ability to teach our patients.
So in order for hospitals to creatively stay afloat, they must go back to basics.
Much of what going back to basics requires is some good old fashioned common sense, which people respond to with enthusiasm.

Especially when it comes to their health.

How can we help our patients help them selves, for all the right reasons?

Single Payer, Single Payer.

The Affordable Care Act, because it included Health Insurance Monopolies, was doomed to fail.

I wish we could have started right out of the gate with Single Payer.

Now we must start again, because the system is rigged against the health of the people.

Vote Bernie Sanders.

Look into your crystal ball-Will Bernie overcome the powers that be?
